Description

Calathea Medallion Maria is a cultivar of the Calathea plant species, known for its striking round leaves with a bold, green central medallion and a deep purple background. The leaves are large and showy, arranged in a rosette pattern on the stem, creating a beautiful display.

This plant is native to the tropical regions of South America and is known for its sensitivity to changes in light and temperature. Calathea Medallion Maria prefers bright, indirect light and a consistent temperature between 16-30°C. It should also be kept evenly moist but not waterlogged.

In addition to its striking appearance, Calathea Medallion Maria is also known for its air-purifying properties, helping to remove harmful pollutants from the air. This makes it a great choice for those who want to improve the air quality in their home or office, while also adding some green and purple to their space.

Overall, the Calathea Medallion Maria is a striking and attractive plant that is a little more high-maintenance than some other houseplants, but well worth the extra care for its beauty.
