Description

Philodendron Hope

The Philodendron Hope grows to become a sizable long-stemmed plant with large narrow jagged shaped leaves. The newer leaves unfurl from the center of the plant with lime green colouring. As the leaves mature they then transition to a dramatic dark green colouring. The growth pattern of the Philodendron Hope creates a delicious silhouette of foliage that brings life to your interior design.

This plant is also known for its air purifying qualities which will work to continue to improve the overall health of your home, all while adding style and colour to your home.

The Philodendron Hope is native to regions in South America. Being a tropical plant it enjoys the warm indoor environment, although an occasional misting to increase the humidity will ensure your plants’ happiness in its new home. As a larger leaved plant, regular maintenance includes removal of dead leaves, rotating to ensure leaves don’t stretch towards the light, and regular wiping or washing of the leaves to help them photosynthesise. Having a plant like this in your home is bound to add a pocket of happiness to your house.
